Considered the be the deadliest battle since the nearly two week Operation Protective Edge, an Israeli offensive on Sunday July 20th, 2014 launched missiles by ground and air in to the Shijaiyah Neighborhood of Gaza City in northern Gaza.
65 were confirmed dead, bringing the death toll up to over 400, most being civilians. Thousands fled.
